The first location on this list FINS Recreation Club, on the other hand, has tennis courts that are open to everyone.

Though, you may still need to book in advance to be guaranteed court time – it’s a very popular place.

The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, Uluwatu

There is a hard court here as well as lawn tennis and the views at this resort, thanks to its position above the Indian Ocean are incredible.

Just try not to hit the balls over the side, they won’t be coming back. Fortunately, the courts aren’t close to the cliff, so that shouldn’t happen.

Once you’ve finished playing, you can take a dip in their amazing infinity pool which has the best views in Uluwatu.

There is also a full fitness centre here to carry out some casual cardio or strength work and when you’re done, they have a spa to knead out all the aches and pains of the day.

One thing we’ve always liked about this place is that in addition to the usual pool, etc. they also have a billiards room for some more gentle exercise in the evenings.

There’s even an onsite children’s playground for your kids to enjoy when you’re away on the tennis courts.

They don’t provide any kind of tennis tuition though, not even group classes as their efforts are firmly focused on teaching people golf.

There are some limited tennis items in the pro shop here but again, the focus is mostly on golf and you might be better off buying a racket before you come to this resort.

Where To Play Tennis Regularly In Bali (Or On Vacation)

Not everyone in Bali is just looking for a holiday game. There are plenty of expats here and while most start here when they join group activities online, they soon get bored and decide to enjoy other facilities in the real world.

If they have good courts nearby, they often pick tennis as a hobby because it’s more fun than the gym and a cardiovascular workout can help ward off heart disease too.

There is one great club for people to enjoy tennis at in Bali. There is also, potentially, another club on its way.
